In the first quarter of 2025, the unified platform performance of top social networking applications in Chile revealed interesting trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Threads from Instagram, Inc. saw a steady number of weekly downloads, peaking at around 64K in mid-February. Despite no revenue, the app's weekly active users increased from 2.6M to approximately 2.8M by the end of March.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative by Bad Kitty's Dad experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching about $4.7K in early February. Downloads surged to over 61K in the same period, while active users grew from 55K to 130K by quarter's end.

Telegram Messenger showed a consistent weekly revenue increase, peaking at around $8.2K in late February. Downloads remained stable, with a high of 50K in early January, and active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at 2.4M.

Facebook maintained stable revenue, peaking at $6.4K in late February. Downloads decreased from 54K in January to 33K by March end, while active users saw a slight increase, reaching 7.5M.

WhatsApp Messenger had a consistent download rate, peaking at 66K in early February. Active users remained robust, starting at 16.1M and ending the quarter at 16.2M.
